It’s time to sign up for the 2025 CSA! As in previous years, our farmers are getting the fields ready to provide us with 20 weeks of the freshest of fresh produce, with our first pickup sometime in mid to late May. Our regular farmers Jesse Ernst, Sue Keyes, and Nancy and Billy Romans will all be returning this year. We really are so lucky to have this relationship with some of the best farmers in the Madison area!
Spring is coming on early this year, but the little winters of the season have been packing a big punch. Thankfully, spring vegetables love this kind of weather, and we expect tender, beautiful greens, ruby red radishes, and crisp lettuces by mid-late May. It seems so appropriate that the crispiest, most vitamin-dense foods arrive just at the time of year when our bodies have been languishing without fresh, local produce over a long winter. We can’t wait for that first bite of local spring salad, and we are so eager to share the goodness with our community!
